Looks like Shia LaBeouf won’t be charged with drunk driving but he is getting his drivers license yanked. He is not off scot-free. Shia will almost certainly have his license suspended because he refused to submit to a blood alcohol test. Steve Whitmore from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept tells us Shia’s DMV hearing is tomorrow.
Ed McMahon Raps For FreeCreditReport.com
At a time in his life when he should be playing golf and looking forward to visits with his grandkids, veteran Hollywood actor/side kick, Ed McMahon has been reduced to public embarrassment just to make ends meet. Ed has been hired to film a viral video for FreeCreditReport.com in which he raps, wears some ridiculous street clothes and trots around with some ho-licious girls.
Hayden Panettiere’s Dad Going To Jail
Hero’s hottie Hayden Panettiere’s father has been charged with misdemeanor battery and could be facing one year in jail. Alan Panettiere was arrested in August on a felony domestic violence for allegedly hitting Hayden’s mom, Lesley. The two had been seen arguing early that night at a Hollywood charity event and the argument escalated to the point that police had to be called later in the evening. Much later in the evening…the cops were summoned to the Panettiere’s West Hollywood home at 3:15am.
Jennifer Aniston Drunk Dialing John Mayer
There are sources out there that are positive that Jennifer Aniston is still in love with John Mayer. In fact, they are saying that Jennifer has been drinking every afternoon and drunk dials often.‘Jennifer reached out to John first. She had a few glasses of wine - then decided to throw caution to the wind and make the first move. ‘She’s had a really tough time since the break-up and the more time goes on, she realises how much John still means to her. Basically, she’s still in love with him and has had a really tough time letting go.’
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline In Counseling
I don’t know if this story is going to turn out to be true or not. I can’t imagine why Kevin Federline would want to bring Britney Spears and her drama back into his life now that he has all her money, but the UK Daily Mail says they are currently in couples counseling in an attempt to put their family back together. If this turns out to be true, you gotta give Big Poppa props for being the most forgiving Baby Daddy ever.‘Part of their therapy involves going on formal dates and Britney is so excited,’ a source told the magazine. ‘She’s never stopped loving Kevin or hoping they’d get back together. Kevin still loves Britney too and if all goes well after six months of counselling they’ll move back in together with the boys.’

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is set to be the new face of Italian fashion house Dolce + Gabbana, according to U.K. reports.The catwalk queen is lined up to strike a deal that is reportedly worth $1.85 million (GBP1 million). A source tells Britain’s the Daily Star, “They (Campbell and the designers) have had a relationship that spans decades and now the plan is for Naomi to be their official muse and ambassador.”She’ll be at the shows and will star in their worldwide advertising campaigns. An absolutely huge deal is on the table.” The design duo made a collection of dresses for Campbell’s charity show at London Fashion Week. Well when a pair of D&G sunglasses adds up to over $500 I can see why this company is a big deal. They are right up their with Gucci, Prada, and other leading fashion mega-companies.

When people who work at celebrity PR firms find these stories leaked to the media or being spread, it is their responsibility to get the real story out there (or, in some cases, to get it pulled). It’s for these reasons that many people think that the sole purpose of celebrity PR firms is to cover up information. It is also the reason why, more often than not, celebrity scandals are able to be downplayed within the media or kept entirely from the public eye. Celebrity PR firms are staffed by those who want to be sure that the images of celebrity clients are maintained so that the clients will be able to continue to succeed.

Anne Hathaway is suspected of turning Raffaello Follieri into Federal agents just before he was arrested, according to the New York Daily News: A pal of jailed wheeler-dealer Raffaello Follieri suspects the starlet spoke with the FBI shortly before they arrested her ex for an alleged $6 million con job. “It makes sense,” the friend said. “She’s referred to as his former girlfriend in the indictment even though her spokesman never confirmed they broke up.” Hathaway, who is not identified by name in the criminal complaint, split with Follieri shortly before his arrest last week. He is charged with posing as an agent of the Vatican to fleece investors out of millions.”I think that in return for her cooperation, the feds held off on arresting Follieri until she was out of the country,” the friend said.Hathaway’s camp has declined to comment on Follieri’s legal troubles.

It’s always a good day when justice is served up American style! Italian romeo/rip-off artist (and Anne Hathaway’s ex) Raffaello Follieri has pled guilty to 14 counts of ‘con-artistry’ and ‘will serve at least five years in prison for filching $6 mil while pretending to be the Vatican’s chief money man.’ While it’s good to know that our justice system does work on occasion, the best part of this story is that Follieri literally begged the judge to move him out of current jail cell because of “unspecified inmate issues.� I think that means prisonrape.

If you have the desire to become an established actor you should possess the passion and commitment for the art, develop the patience to wait for your big break and the strength to overcome failures on the way. 1. Do your research. Talk to people in the acting field and get a clear idea of what it takes to be an actor, and what exactly actors do.
2. Get an education in acting. Attend acting classes, work with acting and dialogue coaches, study life experiences and work on as many acting styles as possible.
3. Relocate to a city or area where you will get more exposure and acting offers. In other words make sure to be where the action is.
4. Make a resume and include all the work you have done in the field in it.
5. Send your resume with an attractive cover letter to casting directors and agents.
6. Read industry papers “Dramalogue,” “The Ross Reports” and websites like Variety.com, Backstage.com, Showbusinessweekly.com, and Hollywoodreporter.com.
Stay updated and send headshots and notes directly to directors and producers requesting auditions.
7. Be dedicated. Be ready to make sacrifices, have flexible work timings, and work on holidays. Prepare yourself for different roles and characters.
8. Commit yourself to your roles. While working train yourself to concentrate on the job at hand and forget everything else around. This helps in making your acting more “real�.
9. Attend industry events and parties, and be socially active. Keep increasing your contact lists; you never know whose help you will need at what time.

The ever graceful Liv Tyler has opened up about the end of her five year marriage to British musician Royston Langdon and how she is still struggling with the grief. She spilled her guts in the October issue of UK Harper’s Bazaar. Here’s some quotes:

You have to hand it to Hollywood and it’s movie stars, who’s race to keep looking beautiful via celebrity plastic surgery is only superseded by their extreme irrelevance in matters of great importance. What ever happened to growing old with dignity? Maybe you started out as a young virile Hollywood heartthrob, or starlet, the years flew by, hair started growing out of your ears and suddenly you began to resemble one of Homer Simpson’s father’s roommates at the Springfield Retirement home, what are you going to do. Those are the breaks, so suck it up and take it like a man, or a woman respectively. If you happen to reside in “Realville� as most of us do, do not allow yourself to be fooled into thinking that money is the only mitigating factor behind good plastic surgery, because the movie stars turned mutants celebrity plastic surgery examples I have seen tells me it is not. I am not entirely sure which Hollywood plastic surgeons idea it was to morph their patients into looking like the evil villains from a Marvel comic, but whosever idea it was they are they get an “A� for effort, and an “F� for taste. Are you telling me this is best money can buy? Thank God in heaven I did not decide to get invasive and extensive plastic surgery on my budget. With the little cash I have, I would probably have ended up coming out looking like Hellboy. Moreover, let us not discount the creepy factor. I have never actually seen someone who has literally died of fright, but if I ever did I imagine it would look a lot like a plastic surgery happy Hollywood movie star. The problem is the movie star is still alive.

It ain’t easy for a hasbeen to tour the world and keep up with a bunch of 20 year-old back-up dancers. In fact, it takes 250 people to keep her going. The newest addition to her crew is a top chiropractor to keep her spine on the straight and narrow. That’s right folks, a staff of 250!
Dr. Steven Margolin has joined the 50-year-old singer on her Sticky and Sweet world tour, according to reports. “It’s (tour) going to be very draining, and she needs him around to aid her in her recovery time after each show.� “She’ll have daily massages to relax her.� Maybe she has someone to sand down her wrinkly skin too with a Black and Decker sander.
Working for Madonna sucks. While she is traveling luxury first class, her staff is in the back of the bus. Madge flew out of France this week on a private jet and stayed at the uber-luxe Chateau Saint Jeannet castle for a total cost of about $15,000. But all 250 folks in her tour crew were put on an easyJet flight and booked into a $75 a-night-roach motel. Nothin like keeping up with her divaness.
“Everyone is absolutely furious with her and some of them want to walk out of the tour. They feel they are being treated like second-class citizens, despite all their hard work over the last few months. Trouble has been brewing for a few months in the Madonna camp, especially since all the claims that her marriage was in crisis. Now to make matters worse, they are being forced to stay in horrible places and fly on cheap low-cost flights, while she has the lap of luxury.�

Miley Cyrus Doing Babysitter Movie Remake
Miley Cyrus is set to star opposite Raven-Symone in a remake of the 1987 movie Further Adventures in Babysitting. In the movie Raven would play babysitter Chris Parker, who sets out on an all night adventure after a desperate phone call. Not sure what Miley’s role is but the film is currently in development and will tentatively be released in 2010. Cha-ching Cha-ching baby! Show Miley the money!

Kelly Osbourne seems to be outdoing her mother in the disgusting behavior department. While Sharon seems to think that the word ‘f’ck’ serves as an adjective and verb, Kelly has recently spat in the face of a comedian after he called her fat and now she’s slapped a British reporter.

After changing the lyrics to one of her songs at a recent concert in honour of the politician. The singer - who performed at last week’s Democratic National Convention (DNC) - pledged her political preference at a Los Angeles concert on Friday (29Aug08). Etheridge, wearing an Obama pin on her guitar strap, prompted the audience to erupt in applause when she adapted the lyrics of her hit song What Happens Tomorrow to highlight the Illinois senator. She sang: “I believe a black man can work hard and succeed. And we could be content to believe that he can be in charge of the free. And be the president.”
Motley Crue star Nikki Sixx is considering burning his diaries
Because he can’t control what becomes of his musings after he’s dead. The bass player made headlines with his Heroin Diaries book - based on items written in his past journals - but he has no plans to be that honest again. And he doesn’t want to upset his loved ones after he’s gone. Sixx says, “It’s (Heroin Diaries success) really brought to my attention, glaringly, that I wouldn’t want any of my other diaries to ever be read. “When the day comes that I pass, I won’t be able to control that. So I’ve been considering burning them so that I can leave those tales untold.”

Dr. Dre’s 20 year old son, Andre Young Jr., was found dead at his family’s Woodland Hills, California, home Saturday morning.Young Jr. was unresponsive when his mother went to check on him around 10 A.M. She immediately called 911 to alert paramedics, who pronounced him dead on the scene.Young Jr.’s cause of death is not known at this time. Officials are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination, including a toxicology report, which could take up to 6 weeks.It was said that Andre was out the previous night and returned home at 5.30 A.M.The poor kid was only 20. It is so sad when someone is in the dawn of their life to have it just end like that. I cannot imagine what Dr. Dre must be going through to loose a son.Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, rose to stardom in the 1980s with rap group N.W.A’s controversial album Straight Outta Compton. Dr. Dre later went on to produce and perform solo, winning a Grammy award in 1992 for The Chronic album’s single “Let Me Ride.�He founded both Death Row Records and Aftermath Records and is recognized for bringing many rap phenoms into the mainstream, including Eminem, Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent.
