Actress (cough cough) Rosanna Arquette has won damages from a British tabloid newspaper after it alleged she had battled drug problems. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! The 48-year-old star filed a lawsuit after the News Of The World newspaper printed the reports in November last year. She says, “This upsetting and untrue allegation has caused me a lot of distress. I felt it was something I had to take action about and I feel so much better now that the true position has been made clear.” The paper, which retracted the story, says, “We are happy to clarify the situation and apologize to Ms. Arquette.” Arquette, best known for her starring role opposite Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan, is donating the undisclosed damages to The Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. TV prankster Steve-O has reportedly been detained by police - after a neighbor caught him wrecking his Hollywood apartment complex. The Jackass star is alleged to have been found breaking holes in the walls of his Los Angeles home, when one of his neighbors made a citizen’s arrest on the joker - restraining him until police officers arrived at the scene, reports Tmz.com. At the time of going to press the star is allegedly at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood station, where he faces vandalism charges. This guy is on every friggin drug on the planet and will be dead by 2009, mark my words. He is spinning out of control, and will be the next drug abuse victim. You gotta love a good citizen’s arrest.

Winona Ryder’s publicists (HER PEOPLE…..HER PEOPLE PEOPLE!) have hit back at reports the actress is set to wed boyfriend Blake Sennett, insisting a picture caption went too far. She is still a kleptomaniac though. Ryder and Sennett reportedly revealed their news to guests at the Valentino show, which marked the end of Paris Fashion Week in France, on Thursday - before most of the world even knew they were dating. But Ryder’s spokeswoman Mara Buxbaum has denied the engagement story. She tells Wenn, “It’s not accurate. They’re dating and they have been dating for some time, but they’re not engaged.” Ryder and Rilo Kelly guitarist Sennett met on the set of new movie Water Pill. Jeff Healey, blind rock and jazz guitarist, dead of cancer. Healey best known for 1988 hit “Angel Eyes”. Jeff has a kick ass rock bar in downtown Toronto, which I have been to a few times, which always had some great live bands. This talented guitarist shared stages with George Harrison and B.B. King along with countless other musicians.Healey had undergone numerous operations in recent years to remove tumors from his lungs and leg. His death came weeks before the release of his first rock album in eight years. RIP ROCKER!
