No Country For Old Men (Screen Actors Guild Winner)
Posted January 29, 2008
“No Country for Old Men” solidified its Academy Awards prospects Sunday by taking overall cast honors alongside Javier Bardem’s supporting-actor prize at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. I saw this movie thinking it was Robert Downey Jr….I think everyone thought that guy was him. But anyways, I went to a trendy little independant theatre to see this Coen brother’s “masterpiece” and I thought it was a ‘good’ movie. Some of the speeches (Tommy Lee Jones) put me to sleep. The bad guy was awesome and the violence was good, but there is no way that No Country For Old Men was as good as EASTERN PROMISES, no way JOSE. Good movie….great, nope but close. I can honestly say I think the ending was a complete ripoff of another movie.,….I don’t want to spoil it….I am going to go to Yahoo Answers and see. THAT ENDING, I KNOW I SAW THAT SOMEWHERE….mazybe an Altman movie…..HMMMM.
