Howard Stern resisted going on the Letterman show due to him not wanting to leave his house, and of course the Writer’s strike (lame excuse that he jumped on). Sirius really wanted him on the show before Christmas so that Stern could push Sirius products as gift ideas. So since it was after Christmas, Howard thought he was out of doing the show…but the producers were holding him to it, and Howie caved in. In my opinion I thought it was an unbelievable performance….funny and a nice side of both of the.
